Genesis Digital Assets Ltd. is a leading builder and manager of industrial-sized bitcoin mining facilities in the world with a strong presence in North America. It is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Manger of Construction to join their legal team. The position requires an understanding of property acquisition, power management and construction legal processes as well as the ability to manage complex legal matters and mitigate risks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance on a wide range of issues related to the acquisition of property, development of infrastructure, procurement of power and construction of data center facilities.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Assist in development and oversite of insurance program.
• Support the General Counsel in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3 to 7 years of legal experience as a licensed attorney.
• Ability to work hybrid from the North America office in Houston, Texas is preferred.
•  Licensed to practice law, preferably in the state of Texas.
• Proven track record in managing complex legal matters.
•  Experience as a transactional attorney in the fields of EPC, Construction, Real Estate, and/or Energy.
•  Strong negotiation and communications skills.
